We’re looking for a hardworking, safety-focused HDPE Welder to join our Dock Construction team. If you enjoy working with your hands, being outdoors, and building high-quality products that last, this is the job for you.

Compensation

  • $26 to $32 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

What You’ll Do

  • Perform HDPE extrusion gun welding (this is a must-have skill)
  • Work independently on-site with a helper, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Safely work at heights using ladders
  • Assist in the fabrication and assembly of wood and HDPE dock components
  • Confidently and safely use hand and power tools for cutting, drilling, fastening, and finishing
  • Work outdoors year-round on lakes, rivers, or oceanfront job sites
  • Load, unload, and move materials and products efficiently
  • Support HDPE welding/fusion and timber framing tasks as required
  • Operate forklifts or assist with rigging and material handling (training/certification is a bonus)
  • Keep the worksite clean, safe, and well-organized
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
  • Support marine construction tasks from docks, barges, or floats
  • Contribute to a positive, high-performing team environment

  • Basic knowledge of tools and materials used in wood and marine construction
  • Comfort working on or near water in varying weather conditions
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift and handle heavy materials
  • Reliability and punctuality—we depend on each other
  • A team-first attitude with solid communication and problem-solving skills
  • HDPE welding/fusion experience, timber framing, or dock building background (strong asset)
  • Forklift experience or willingness to get certified
  • A commitment to safety and doing things the right way
  • Flexibility to work overtime or extended hours as required
