Compensation

  • $35 to $45 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

What You’ll Do

  • Welding, fabricating, and assembling large-diameter steel pipe (shop + field)
  • Laying down high-quality welds using SMAW and FCAW techniques
  • Reading blueprints and work orders like a pro and welding to spec
  • Monitoring heat input and interpass temps on pressure pipe
  • Conducting visual and dimensional inspections of welds
  • Operating welders, torches, grinders—whatever it takes to get the job done
  • Keeping gear in top shape and your workspace clean and safe

What You Bring

  • Certified in CWB, SMAW or FCAW welding (minimum B-level logbook or equivalent)
  • TSBC Class “A”, “IT” or “R” ticket + ability to pass internal procedural tests (X-ray quality welds required)
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs and working in varied positions
  • Your own steel-toe boots and hard hat
