Compensation
- $25.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
What You’ll Do
- Process accounts payable (AP) data entry, reconcile vendor statements, and mail out cheques
- Collect, organize, and reconcile credit card receipts
- Assist with timecard entry and payroll spreadsheet updates
- Greet and assist visitors, answer calls, and respond to inquiries with professionalism
- Maintain office organization and order supplies as needed
- Coordinate service providers, including scheduling septic services when required
- Update employee phone lists, manage requests for company cell phones and gas cards
- Assist in organizing company functions
- Complete systematic filing of A/P, payroll, and project documentation to project folders
- Support insurance processes for equipment, properties, and bonding
- Track employee vacation days in Excel spreadsheets
- Provide backup support for other office staff during absences
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
What You Bring
- High school diploma (required); post-secondary coursework in administration, accounting, or business (preferred)
- Previous administrative or office support experience (required)
- Experience with accounts payable, reconciliations, or payroll support (asset)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional communication skills—written and verbal
- Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and in a team
- Discretion in handling confidential information
