Hazelwood Finance, a division of The Hazelwood Group, is seeking a full-time Accounting Graduate to join our team in Nanaimo, BC.

Compensation

  • $23 to $25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

What You’ll Do

  • Handle full-cycle accounting (payables, receivables, reconciliations, reporting).
  • Assist with budgets, forecasts, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Support month-end and year-end reporting with real business insights.
  • Partner with management teams to help them make smart decisions.
  • Take on special projects and learn how different businesses operate.

What You Bring:

  • A recent accounting degree (CPA track an asset but not required yet).
  • Interest in business operations, not just accounting rules.
  • Solid computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
