We’re looking for a hardworking, safety-focused General Labourer to join our Dock Fabrication team. If you enjoy working with your hands, being outdoors, and building high-quality products that last, this is the job for you.

Compensation

  • $26 to $30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

What You’ll Do

  • Assist in the fabrication and assembly of wood and HDPE dock components.
  • Operate hand and power tools for cutting, drilling, fastening, and finishing tasks.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including on and around lakes and the ocean.
  • Support the safe loading, unloading, and handling of materials, including forklift and rigging support.
  • Help with HDPE welding/fusion and timber framing activities as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite at all times.
  • Follow directions from supervisors and contribute to marine construction projects on docks, barges, and floats.
  • Collaborate with your team to deliver quality work with a positive, safety-focused mindset.

What You’ll Bring

  • Familiarity with tools, equipment, and practices used in wood and marine construction.
  • Comfort working outdoors and on water-based sites.
  • Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials and perform hands-on tasks.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong willingness to learn new skills.
  • Experience in forklift operation, dock building, timber framing, or marine construction (asset).
  • Knowledge or experience with HDPE welding/fusion (strong asset).
  • A consistent commitment to safety protocols and proper PPE use.
  • Positive attitude, teamwork, and clear communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work overtime or varied hours when required.
