We are seeking new team members for our steel fabrication division. We offer competitive wages, benefits, and a positive work environment. Our shop operates on a 4-day workweek with 10-hour shifts.

Compensation
- $28-$34 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Summary
The Shop Welder is responsible for welding, fitting, and fabricating custom marine structures from steel and aluminum. Working in a supportive, safety-focused environment, the Shop Welder will be responsible for interpreting fabrication drawings, assembling components, and delivering high-quality workmanship.
Job Duties
- Perform welding (primarily steel; aluminum welding experience is an asset)
- Fabricate, fit, and cut materials from detailed fabrication drawings
- Assemble and weld components according to specifications
- Inspect and maintain welding equipment and ensure work area safety
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum Level C Welding Certification (CWB Certification is an asset)
- Experience in MIG and/or FCAW welding
- Aluminum welding experience considered an asset
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints
- Strong fitting and fabrication skills
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Forklift operation experience (an asset)
- Valid First Aid Certification (an asset)
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
